Since its beginnings, Weco has set the standard for quality in the tile mortars and grouts industry in Puerto Rico and The Caribbean. Upon becoming part of the Blanco Group in 2013, Weco embarked on a journey of innovation to complete its portfolio of solutions, not only in the Tile & Stone Installation category but also in the Building Materials and Concrete Repair categories. Weco co-creates and develops its products using only premium materials and with the support of the best technical experts worldwide from our network of global suppliers. Weco manufactures and distributes Premium building and tile installation materials, creating value to the construction professional, architect, designer, contractor and homeowner, with the most complete portfolio of solutions for industrial, commercial and residential projects. We strive to develop relationships, build trust and deliver quality to our customers. Our manufacturing plant in Puerto Rico is the most technologically advanced mortar production facility in The Caribbean, and is home to 150 employees who produce the best quality products in the industry. Our products are industry leaders in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and The Caribbean. From the initial stages of each construction project, to its final touches, our Weco and Cortag products cover all the solutions that the construction professional, project owner and homeowner need to build, repair and transform spaces.

Technology & Capacity

Weco manufactures 100% of its products in the most modern cement mortars plant in Puerto Rico and The Caribbean, with an installed production capacity of 50,000 tons per year. We are vertically integrated to produce our own sands by milling and classifying aggregates to achieve the desired granulometry and enhance the quality of our mortars.
